Pearl R. Miller Middle School Mission Statement

At Pearl R. Miller Middle School, it is our goal to provide students with experiences that foster their academic, social, and emotional growth; that allow them to enhance their talents and abilities; and that allow them to discover new areas of interest.  Furthermore, our goal is to equip students with the skills and competencies necessary to be active contributors to modern society. A rigorous curriculum and diverse co-curricular program, administered by dedicated educators with a sound understanding of the needs and abilities of middle school students, guides students on a path toward achieving these goals.  All of this occurs in the context of a nurturing environment in which the principles of our Full Value character education program are prevalent, and which students are supported in achieving the high standards that challenge each person to fulfill his or her potential.
