A damaged or malfunctioning Chromebook must be brought to the Media Specialist at the Stonybrook, PRM, or KHS Media Center.

Students should fill out a repair ticket prior to bringing their device to the media center.

If necessary a claim will be filed through School Device Coverage.

A loaner will be issued to the student while their device is repaired.

Students are responsible for any damage to or loss of a loaner.

Please do not attempt to repair a district-owned device or use an outside computer service for any repair.

Please remember that the insurance plan DOES NOT COVER:

Loss or damage caused by deliberate abuse or destruction. (For devices stolen from a vehicle, proof of forced entry is required.)

Device covers, chargers, keyboards that are not a part of the device, external components not part of the original unit, software, or other accessories unless specifically noted in the purchased coverage plan.
