Summer Boost for ELA & Math

We’ve used IXL to reinforce our curriculum this year, and your child will continue to have access to the online program over the summer through August 10th. With thousands of interactive skills, IXL is a fun way for your child to keep their learning fresh. Follow these steps to access the program:

Under Sign-In, click the Sign In with Clever option:
Have your child sign into Clever with their Clever Badge (rising grades 1-3) or Google account (rising grades 4-5):
Once signed in, you’ll be taken to your child’s personal dashboard. Here you can see recommendations based on their practice history and learning needs.
To review your child’s progress click on the Analytics Tab at the top of your child’s account. You’ll be taken to your child’s Student Summary report where you can review the list of accomplishments and skills to work on.
Students can continue to practice their recommendations OR utilize the Summer Boost Skill Plans. The Summer Boost Skill Plans highlight foundational and high-priority skills from the previous year to ensure students are on track to succeed in the next grade level. Kinnelon Public Library's 2025 Summer Reading Program

Looking for a fun way to keep your child reading this summer? The Kinnelon Public Library is hosting its 2025 Children’s Summer Reading Program from June 13 through August 8, 2025, open to Kinnelon residents of all ages (0+).

Children can earn raffle tickets for reading and attending library programs, with chances to win fun prizes! Reading logs are simple to complete, and being read to counts, making this a great opportunity for even our youngest learners.

🗓️ All reading logs must be submitted by Friday, August 8 at 3:00 PM.
🎉 Prize winners will be announced on Saturday, August 9.

IXL’s 2025 Study in the Sun Contest

IXL is hosting its annual Study in the Sun Contest, running from June 9 through August 3, 2025. T

🌞 Here’s how it works:
Students who answer 7,000 questions or more during the contest period will be entered into a random drawing to win one of ten $350 VISA gift cards!

📅 Winners will be announced on August 12 on the IXL Facebook page and the IXL Blog.

Help your child stay safe, smart, and kind online this summer!

Shared by our Media Center and created by Learning.com, this Online Safety Summer Packet is a helpful resource for K–5 families looking to build strong digital habits during the summer break. The packet includes:
