Mrs. Jean Donaldson
President

Jean Donaldson graduated SUNY Albany in 1989 where she played for the women’s soccer team for four years and was a founding sister for a sorority. She joined the US Coast Guard to pursue her dream of becoming a helicopter pilot and was commissioned an Ensign in July 1992. Jean served in the US Coast Guard for over 22 years as a Deck Watch Officer, HH60J Helicopter pilot, and Public and Government Affairs officer. Jean has over 30 years of experience volunteering as a coach, community involvement in school districts, churches and general community groups. Jean is married to Bill Donaldson and they have five children. Jean and Bill have moved many times due to military transfers and work opportunities and have lived in Kinnelon since the summer of 2018.
Mrs. Kelly Parrella
Vice President

Kelly Parrella, MSW, LSW is currently in her first term on the Kinnelon Board of Education. She has her Master’s Degree from NYU in Clinical Social Work. Currently, she is a School Social Worker at a Celebrate the Children School. Kelly also has a private counseling practice. In the past Kelly has taught at multiple schools and has been a CCD teacher at OLM. Kelly was the President of the Smoke Rise Mother's Group. She has served on the Smoke Rise Board of Governors Nomination Committee, Recreation Committee and Orientation Committee. She has volunteered with the Kinnelon football, wrestling, basketball and baseball teams. Kelly has lived in Kinnelon for more than 16 years. Her husband Jeff graduated from Kinnelon High School. She has 4 sons that are very active in many sports and clubs within the Kinnelon community. Kelly and her family feel very grateful to call Kinnelon their home.
Mr. Jonathan Eisenmenger
Board Member

Jon Eisenmenger is a four-year resident of Kinnelon, and serving his first full term on the Board. Jon graduated from Wheaton College (IL) with a B.A. in political science, and Rutgers with a Masters in Public Administration. He has worked with the State of New Jersey for 20 years, during which time he earned his C.P.A. license. Jon is married to Esther, and they have three children who attend Kinnelon public schools and participate in many music and sports activities.
Mrs. Melissa Gaiser
Board Member

Melissa Gaiser is a lifelong advocate for children and families. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Studies from Montclair State University and previously worked as a Human Services Specialist for the Morris County Office of Temporary Assistance.
Melissa is now a stay-at-home mother of four young children and she assists her husband with their small family business. Her daughters are actively involved in cheer within the community. She also serves as a trustee on the Lake Reality Association. Born in Costa Rica, she is bilingual and brings a diverse perspective to her role. Her husband has family roots in Kinnelon, and together they are proud to call Kinnelon home. Melissa and her family are active members of Our Lady of Magnificat Church and are grateful to be part of such a strong and supportive community.
Mrs. Dana Leonard
Board Member

Dana Leonard teaches science at Pope John XXIII Regional High School in Sparta, NJ. Previous work experience includes roles in Scientific Affairs and Medical Information at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. Dana graduated Boston University with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. While obtaining an M.S. in Bioinformatics at Boston University College of Engineering, she was also a graduate teaching fellow.
For several years, Dana was a catechist at Our Lady of the Magnificat Parish in Kinnelon, where she and her family are active parishioners. Dana’s roots are in Kinnelon, as she was born and raised here. She and her husband returned to Kinnelon in 2006 as they started their family. They have three sons and feel blessed to live in such a beautiful community.
Mr. Carl Myers
Board Member

Carl Myers, PhD has a doctorate in chemistry from Penn State University and a BS from Ohio University. He has over twenty years of scientific research and product development experience in academic, national lab, and industrial settings, with over 20 publications and granted patents. Carl is currently a Director of Oral Care Product Development at Colgate-Palmolive.
He and his wife Heather have two kids and two dogs, Blinkin and Achoo. They moved to Kinnelon in 2020, and he is serving his first term on the Board.
For over a decade, he has traveled to Middle Eastern and African countries bringing medical aid and cultural programs through a UN registered non-profit organization.
