Preschool Program at Kiel School
The Kinnelon Public Schools is currently accepting letters from borough resident families interested in having their toilet trained 4-year-olds to attend our inclusive Preschool Program. The program runs Monday through Friday following our District calendar. Our first session runs 9:20 am to 11:50 am and a second 1:10 pm to 3:40 pm, Monday through Friday. The cost for the program is $3,000 for the 10 month school year.
The children are provided with small group instruction that is tailored to their academic needs. While following along with the New Jersey Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards, students are taught pre-reading and pre-writing skills that prime them for success in an academic Kindergarten. Small class size and individual attention make this a unique program, creating a caring community of learners providing consistent, positive relationships for the children and laying the foundation for a positive first experience of school.
Transportation to and from the program must be provided by the family. Children are selected via a lottery system.
To have your child included in the lottery, send a letter of interest or e-mail with your child’s name, address, telephone number and date of birth to the Kinnelon Public Schools;
