About Mu Alpha Theta (ΜΑΘ)
Mu Alpha Theta (ΜΑΘ) is the National Math Honor Society dedicated to inspiring a keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics among high school students. Kinnelon High School (KHS) currently has its own ΜΑΘ chapter and members are recognized for their mathematical excellence and have access to scholarships, awards, competitions, and math-related events through partnerships with other national organizations like the Mathematical Association of America (MAA). Members also provide peer support by volunteering their time to tutor other students in mathematics.
