Attendance

Parents now have the option of calling 973 838 5500X4009 or  using a dedicated attendance email address to notify the school of a student’s absence @ khsattendance@kinnelon.org.. The following information must be included in the phone call or email:

• student name
• grade/homeroom
• reason for absence indicating  if your child has a fever, accompanied by a sore throat or cough.

A written release from a physician  or Nurse Practitioner is required if a student is absent for 3 days or more and for the control of communicable diseases. 

 Parents are encouraged to add this information to personal communication devices.
