KHS Presents "EVITA" - Feb 26 - 28 KHS has served the students and parents of the Kinnelon community located in Morris County, New Jersey for the past 47 years. We are proud of the tradition of excellence in academics, athletics, and the fine, performing, and technical arts that has been left as a legacy by our graduates. Despite a growing enrollment, we pride ourselves in maintaining a personal and friendly environment typically only found in private schools. Members of our school community are guided by an honor code that helps create a climate conducive to personal growth and a high level of achievement. Our students are serviced by an ever-increasing number of electives in addition to secondary, college-prep and college-level courses. The district has made a commitment to increasing rigor in its curriculum while supporting students with different learning needs and styles. Kinnelon High School enjoys an excellent reputation with colleges and universities who recognize the strong preparation provided by our dedicated faculty. While approximately 94% of the class of 2009 will continue their education, more than 1/3 graduated with potential college credit either because of their successful Advanced Placement performance or successful completion of courses offered through a program with Syracuse University. Both of these accelerated programs allow our students to gain college credit by successfully completing college-level courses here. Members of the classes of 2008 and 2009 are now continuing their education in some of the most prestigious universities in the country including Columbia, Cornell, Duke, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and the University of Pennsylvania. Due to the success of our athletic programs we have an increasing number of graduates who are competing at the college level. Random Drug Testing (RDT) Policy 
Our commitment to professional growth is evidenced by the training the teachers at Kinnelon High School are receiving to develop their skills in differentiated learning strategies as well as methods of integrating technology into their classes. A large majority have earned advanced degrees in their field and a number of our teachers are enrolled in graduate and professional programs.
