Required
Summer Reading
|
|
The word "required"
seems to remove the joy of leisure reading and only succeeds in
pressuring parents to monitor a process that students should, hopefully,
enjoy. Therefore, although we highly encourage summer reading and
offer direction at all grade levels in that area, we believe participation
should be an individual student choice. Only incoming 9th graders
shall have a "required" summer read. The following
are our parameters:
