Dear Stonybrook Families,

Thank you for visiting our website. This is an excellent resource to help keep you informed and involved in your child's school experience. There is a vast array of information available to you here: school and staff contact information; the parent/student handbook; the calendar of school and district events; transportation, cafeteria, and after-school activity information, as well. Additionally, postings on the front page, weekly "Friday Folder" distributions through the "School Notices" link, and the Activity Calendar are also available. In short, this is a great place to visit in order to remain current with all that is taking place at Stonybrook.

You will also see a link to "Our Stonybrook Blog" on the front page of our website. The blog (short for "weblog") is a forum for us to be able to discuss any number of topics that matter to our students, school, and community. I will be posting comments, questions, ideas, and other reflections, and I encourage you to share your thoughts, too.

When posting, I ask that you please respect these guidelines:

• When posting, do not use people's names, or descriptions that would indicate specific people. Respect people's right to privacy.
• Use appropriate language.
• Please note that all responses enter a queue before they "go live" for everyone to read. Once the comments are approved, they will be publicly available on the blog for everyone to see.
