Short Bio: Mr. Opiekun began his career in education as a high school and middle school teacher of history and social studies. Subsequently he has served as a Vice Principal, Principal and Superintendent in several New Jersey school districts and has been Superintendent of Kinnelon schools since 2002. He holds an undergraduate degree from Mount St. Mary's University, Md. in history and education and a masters degree in school administration from William Paterson University.
