Short Bio: Dr. Maizell has been an educator for 28 years. He has served as a classroom teacher, school psychologist, and special education administrator. His professional interests include activity based learning, and he has co-authored a text on the subject entitled, Exploring Islands of Healing (Schoel & Maizell, 2003). He holds both Doctoral and Masters Degrees from Pace University in School/Community Psychology and a Master's degree in special education from Rutgers University. Dr. Maizell also holds certification as a teacher of English.
