Short
Bio: Jodi Mulholland began her career as an elementary
school teacher. She has experience teaching kindergarten through
eighth grade, as well as having been a teacher of the gifted
and talented. Mrs. Mulholland has extensive background in
staff development and teacher training, maintaining a successful
private educational consulting practice for over ten years.
Prior
to her position in Kinnelon, Mrs. Mulholland has been a national
presenter in the educational forum, speaking to teachers,
parents, and administrators on a variety of topics, including
balanced literacy, assessment, parenting, and motivating staff.
A large part of Mrs. Mulholland's consulting practice included
presenting workshops and working in classrooms, modeling lessons
and coaching teachers as they began to incorporate a variety
of strategies to meet the varied needs of their students.
Also,
Mrs. Mulholland has served as an adjunct professor at William
Paterson University, supervising student teachers. Additionally,
she has taught in the Master's in Elementary Reading and Literacy
program at Walden University.
Mrs. Mulholland's
mission is to help all children become active, lifelong learners.
She is excited to bring together her educational philosophy
with the goals of the Kinnelon Public Schools. As the Principal
of Stonybrook School, Mrs. Mulholland will continue to work
with the staff, students, and families of the community, helping
them achieve their goals.
Mrs. Mulholland
is married, has two children, and lives in Wayne.
