Short
Bio: Mrs. Deborah Reinhardt has been employed in Kinnelon
as a Kindergarten Teacher since 2001. She has a BS in Elementary
Education from Lock Haven University and is currently seeking
a Masters in Professional Development with a Supervisory certificate
from Seton Hall University.
She has over 20 year teaching experience, both small group
instruction and whole class, inclusion models. Prior to coming
to Kinnelon, Deborah worked at The Franklin Elementary Schools
as a Basic Skills instructor working with 2nd - 8th graders
teaching math and reading. She has also worked in the Sparta
School System as a Basic Skills Instructor for 2nd - 5th grade
students providing reading and math support to identified
students and taught kindergarten for a total of 7 years there.
She has private school experience as well, having taught Kindergarten
at the Hilltop Country Day School in Sparta for 4 years.
Since
2001, and an employee of the Kinnelon Schools, Deborah is
an active member of the Kinnelon School community, working
as the MCCEA PRIDE chairperson for Kinnelon Schools KEA Representative,
various committee memberships and a mentor to new teachers.
She has written curriculum, both in science and writing. She
enjoys working with new teachers, acting as the cooperating
teacher for a number of student teachers from local colleges.
She also is the camp councilor for the nationally recognized
Safety Town Program in Kinnelon.
Mrs.
Deborah Reinhardt enjoys an active life style which includes
camping with her family, taking long walks on the beach, cycling,
running and pilates. She has 3 children and lives with her
husband in Andover New Jersey.
