Short Bio: Mrs. Dalton graduated with a B.A. in English from Adelphi University. She completed Hunter College’s Teaching English as a Second language program to become dually certified. The first 16 years of her career, she taught Middle School English and English as a Second Language (ESL). She came to Kinnelon in 1987 as an ESL teacher and continued to meet her personal goal to become a Reading Specialist. She graduated from William Paterson University with a Masters of Education degree and three additional teaching certificates. She has had the distinct pleasure of teaching in all five buildings in Kinnelon, and for the past five years, Mrs. Dalton has been teaching first grade. Mrs. Dalton has also been active in the Kinnelon Education Association where she served in several capacities including President and Newspaper Editor.
