Teaching Subjects: Chemistry

Short Bio: Mr. Smith has been teaching since 2001, at KHS since September 2005. He holds a BS in Applied Chemistry from WPUNJ, with concentrations in biochemistry and analytical instrumentation. He is currently pursuing a MS in Chemistry from Montclair State University, and has taken graduate courses in teaching with technology and preparation for the AP Chemistry exam. He is a member of the NJ Academy of Science, NJ Science Teachers Association, and the American Chemical Society. In addition to teaching, he tutors chemistry, physics, and math, and is an active musician, playing in several area orchestras, concert bands, and brass quintets.
