We have been asked by First Student Transportation to please ask for your cooperation at making sure that your child is waiting at the bus stop when the bus arrives for pickup. Please make sure that your child is waiting at the bus stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled arrival time of your bus. This will insure that your child does not miss the bus, and that the bus routes are completed in a timely fashion.

Additionally, for the safety of your child, please make sure that you are available to receive your child when they are returned to their stop at the end of the school day. For pre-school handicapped, junior kindergarten, and kindergarten students, the parent must be present in order for the child to be dropped off. In the event that no adult is at the stop, the bus company has been directed to take your child to the next scheduled school and he/she will be dropped off there, which could be OLM, the high school, etc. There is a $25.00 charge to return your child to a school.

Your assistance at the drop off time will relieve a lot of anxiety and stress that your child might feel should you not be available when he/she arrives.
