Curriculum and Instruction

Dr. Martha Croley:

Dr. Martha Baklarz Croley has been an educator for over 23 years in both Texas and New Jersey at the middle, high school, and college levels. Although the majority of her teaching experience is in mathematics, she has also taught social studies and computer technology.

In addition, Dr. Croley presents standard-based mathematics workshops in districts and at state and national mathematics conferences. She is interested in strategies that increase students' interest in mathematics, especially for females. Her dissertation, the first ever conferred at Montclair State University, researched The Factors That Produce and Reduce Mathematics Anxiety as Perceived by 7th Grade Females.

Martha's enthusiasm and use of teaching innovations coupled with her strong belief that ALL students can attain the skills, understandings, and attitudes necessary to be successful will help Kinnelon students to reach their highest potential for learning.
